Easter + ENC Hosts First TCU Event!

Posted on April 4, 2024May 4, 2024 by Bria Lacour

MARCH 2024 :: Bria’s Ministry Update :: Every Nation Campus :: Fort Worth, Texas

One foot on the Campus

We are hosting our first ENC events at TCU!

As a part of the process for ENC to become an organization (org) at TCU, we’re hosting our first of three events on campus! This is the last action step for pending organizations, and we are on track to become official by May. Keep praying!

Joya (our student leader) had an amazing meeting with TCU’s University Chaplain, Todd Boling, and was added to communications for religious organizations at TCU.

We will be tabling (inviting people to join our organization, passing out flyers, and giving out goodies) on campus on 4/17 and 4/24 during the day, and we will end with a Game Night on 4/24. Please pray for great attendance and connections, and follow our journey on Instagram! @enctcu

We also hosted an axe-throwing event for our ENC students. The ten young adults who attended had a great time of fellowship and fun.

Next up… we will be prayer walking and hanging at Dallas Baptist University (DBU) next week to support our DBU student, Logan!

Bullseye for Sydnee!
Gigi checked the box for a bullseye, too!

One foot in the Community

We had our first (really, second) Easter service at Mosaic Church Fort Worth!

We had a wonderful service with just shy of 60 adults and children. Regular attendees took steps of faith to invite family and friends. Some hadn’t even been to church since before 2020, but all enjoyed and were touched by God’s presence.

We also just finished our Next Steps Course, which consisted of five weeks of walking through our church’s core values. Those who attended these services can now join Mosaic Church Fort Worth as members. Please pray with and for us, as we hope those called to our church community remain and join us in reaching the city of Fort Worth. By God’s grace, we are growing!

I also cooked an Easter meal (a labor of love!) for seven TCU students. Several of them thought they would be alone and struggle with being away from family for the holiday, and their hearts were filled with gratitude. Some even expressed their excitement about joining ENC as we get started on campus. Those moments when you realize just how far a small gesture like an invite (mine started with just inviting two) can go make it all worth it.

Personal Updates

I spent some time with my family in Houston! The drive is a little further now, but we had a great time.

Prayer Requests

  • For favor on TCU’s campus, as we are in the process of becoming a university-recognized campus ministry (with that, discernment in choosing a graduate program).
  • For open doors and hearts on campus and in the community.
  • For my monthly partnership to increase by $1,000 / 10-15 partners.
  • For boldness, wisdom, and courage.

THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR PARTNERING TO SEE STUDENTS’ LIVES CHANGED BY JESUS! If you need prayer, I would love to hear from and pray for you! Please text, call, or email.
