APRIL 2024 :: Bria’s Ministry Update :: Every Nation Campus :: Fort Worth, Texas
One foot on the Campus
We are… officially a student organization at TCU!
We tabled (invited people to join our organization, passed out Game Night flyers, etc.) on campus on April 17th and 24th, engaging with students, having great conversations, spreading joy and hope before finals, and giving away a few prizes.
We ended all our efforts with just shy of 100 new contacts, 20 students at our Game Night (and it’s crazy final exam and project time right now, so this was great!), and many joining our GroupMe to stay updated. 🎉
We met TCU football players, track athletes, student government leaders, Greek life presidents, international students, and many first-year students! Check out the recap videos on our Instagram: @enctcu.
We also visited the University of Texas at Arlington (UTA)! We prayed for the campus and actually ended up meeting a UTA student with whom we hope to stay connected. We pivoted from visiting Dallas Baptist University (DBU), but that is coming up this week. Look forward to that update next month.
One foot in the Community
I am a mentor! One thing we have aimed to do and have been privileged to do with our city is serve Fort Worth ISD. We have partnered with Academy 4, a program designed to impact the lives of 4th graders. I am mentoring at Western Hills Elementary and hope to see transformation happen in the lives of students in Title I Schools.
I also volunteered at FWISD’s Campus Teacher of the Year event, which was a beautiful and honoring luncheon for the nearly 145 teachers of the year from each school in the city (check out the volunteer appreciation video).
I made some awesome connections with administrators, volunteer coordinators, and other volunteers.
Pastor Alvin has also found favor and an audience with the FWISD Superintendent, Dr. Angélica Ramsey. Please pray with and for us as we impact the city of Fort Worth in this way. God continues to surprise us!
We have had several visitors at Mosaic Church Fort Worth and are hoping for more. Pastor Alvin has beautifully led us through a sermon series on the “One Another” found in scripture, teaching us to love others well.

Personal Updates
Good friends and staff from Mosaic Church Austin came to visit! Friends show up when we need them the most.
Prayer Requests
- For favor on TCU’s campus, as we are in the process of becoming a university-recognized campus ministry (with that, discernment in choosing a graduate program).
- For open doors and hearts on campus and in the community.
- For my monthly partnership to increase by $1,000 / 10-15 partners.
- For boldness, wisdom, and courage.
THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR PARTNERING TO SEE STUDENTS’ LIVES CHANGED BY JESUS! If you need prayer, I would love to hear from and pray for you! Please text, call, or email.
