JULY 2024 :: Bria’s Ministry Update :: Every Nation Campus :: Fort Worth, Texas
One foot on the Campus
Future leaders are on the campus.
Although students are out for the summer, I am fueled by this fact. The BUILD Conference and ENC Staff Summit were filled with education and encouragement for church leaders. I was reminded that developing current and future leaders sustains God’s mission through His Church.
Two of our student leaders, Joya Ogier and Sydnee Moody, attended with us. Both of these ladies are highly involved in Phi Mu Sorority at TCU, holding executive and committee chair positions. They actually met in their sorority, and Sydnee’s faith journey was reignited when Joya started the One2One (a discipleship tool) with her. Since then, Joya has reached even more girls in her sorority who are in our women’s Bible study.
Sydnee attended the National ENC Student Conference in January alongside Joya, which gave her a picture of ENC’s vision and mission. This led to her joining Joya in taking that mission to TCU’s campus, where we saw great fruit in the Spring. So, she and Joya’s attendance at BUILD was a step even further in their growth as leaders and world changers on campus. We are ready to hit the ground running in a couple of weeks!
One foot in the Community
At Mosaic Church Fort Worth, we performed our first baptisms since launching. Pastor Alvin’s neighbor, sibling, and their children were baptized—4 people total! In addition, one of our core attendees gave their life to Jesus and will be getting baptized next.
This, along with recognizing our first members, is an answered prayer. God is moving in Cow Town!
Let’s connect this month!
