JANUARY 2024 :: Bria’s Ministry Update :: Every Nation Campus :: Fort Worth, Texas
One foot on the Campus
If you missed it, we are now in the great city of Fort Worth, Texas.
This is thanks to your faithful partnership, whether you give your finances, your time and /or prayer. This move of faith wouldn’t have been possible without you.
We are believing to reach the campuses of:
- Texas Christian University (TCU)
- the University of Texas at Arlington (UTA)
- Tarrant County College (TCC)
- Tarleton State University – Fort Worth
- and Dallas Baptist University (DBU)
As you can see from the length of that list, after the 6 past years reaching thousands of students at UT Austin and Austin Community College (ACC) in Austin, Texas, we are now in a metroplex with over 200,000 college students.
A few weeks ago, we brought 6 students to our Every Nation Campus (ENC) Conference, where 2500+ students from ENC chapters all over North America gathered.
Watch this year’s recap:
Since starting ministry here in October, I’ve had a great time getting to know our ENC student leader at TCU, Joya. She is an incredible young woman of God who is reaching 10-15 students within her sorority (~50% of TCU is involved in Greek life) and beyond.
We also also host monthly brunches and hangouts, where TCU and DBU students have been in attendance. Our next hangout is only days away and just in time for the Super Bowl.
One foot in the Community
Mosaic Church Fort Worth officially launched in September, with full services on first Sundays and a Bible study on the book of Acts (the early church) the other weeks.
It was amazing to walk through the story of the early church while in the early days of our own church community. The favor of the Lord has been so apparent to our small but mighty church plant community, as we’ve seen open doors and opportunity to bless & minister to our city, especially FWISD.
As the start of the new year, we began meeting in our new location, a beautiful & new elementary school in the Benbrook area. After our annual prayer and fasting week with our global Every Nation family, we launched weekly full services.
In addition to my time on the campus, I have been asking God to put me in the path of those looking for Him. From neighbors, to people at places I frequent, and those I meet as I get to know and am on mission in this city. And, He has! More on that to come…
Personal Updates
I turned 30 this past Christmas Day! I’m thankful for such a beautiful life and the start of a new season in Fort Worth. I had a great time with family.
